Lake McDonald and Going-to-the-Sun Road. If the valley looks like a "V", it was carved by flowing water; if it looks like a "U", it was carved by glaciers.

You got it, Mary Anne! (Y'all, she's my sister.) Each view of this place is better than the last. I was all choked up at lunch at Many Glacier while remembering Mom (who was born in Montana).
